Answers to What and How

History is indeed fascinating, and it is happening everyday.

One could get a glimpse of history from the writings of ancient scribes, or by looking at the remnants of structures and whatever items that have been left behind by those who were laughing, crying, thinking, loving and dreaming, but who are now long gone.

Unearthing these long buried traces from long ago is an expensive and arduous process.

Today, through blogging, each of us has the opportunity to live imprints for the future generations. The power is at the tips of our fingers and it takes just a few minutes of tip-tapping on our keyboards. They would know our fashions, our passions, our darkest fears and our most ardent prayers. We could make them see what we see now, listen to what we are listening. With carefully chosen words, we could even let them feel what we are feeling.

I will blog about people, things, places and happenings- the fascinating and the mundane, as I know that no matter how trivial they may seem today, our children will consider these peeks to their past priceless gems. This is our gift to them. It is my desire is to be a channel for this gift.

How would it make me feel when I have achieved this goal? I would feel that I will have fulfilled my dharma, the reason I am here.
